Internet Connection
It's hard to believe that it's been only two years, since so many things in my life changed drastically. I have never before had the feeling of learning such an amount of new things. I found friends that I admire and whose company I enjoy.
I am not connected to the internet - I am connected to people, via the internet
Or as John Perry Barlow stated in the Declaration of the Independence of Cyberspace:
Ours is a world that is both everywhere and nowhere, but it is not where bodies live.
This applies with all positive and negative aspects. However, how much I wish I could come over sometimes, physically, to have a beer and chat or to not talk at all; I am grateful for our new home of minds where we can share our thoughts, free from physical constraints.
We have never met in person - That does not make the meeting less personal
